Call for Tutorials
The International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik is the most important meeting place for Wirtschaftsinformatik research in the German-speaking world and a forum for exchange with entrepreneurs. For the 17th International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI22), Friedrich Alexander University (FAU) invites you to Nuremberg.
We invite the WI community to submit proposals for tutorials. While workshops provide an effective forum for participants with common (research) interests, tutorials are intended to provide information on emerging topics and trends to conference participants, provide an overview of complementary techniques to those commonly studied in the WI community, and inform practitioners from industry about the state of the art in the field. Tutorials should be given by experts in the particular topic.
As part of the conference, there will be an opportunity to hold “pre conference” (on Sun 2/20/2022, 10:00 – 16:00) or “post conference” (on Wed 2/23/2022, 13:30 – 18:00) tutorials.
Please send proposals for tutorials by 11/05/2021 (14:00 CEST) with the following information to Prof. Dr. Verena Tiefenbeck (verena.tiefenbeck@fau.de):
- Tutorial description (working title)
- Short description of the tutorial
- Intended target group (Is the tutorial exclusively intended for participants of WI2022 or are other persons also eligible?)
- Responsible organizer(s)
- If applicable, organization conducting the tutorial (e.g. GI subject group …)
- Desired date for the tutorial (20.2.2022 or 23.2.2022)
